featherfin (Synodontis eupterus)

I was just given a six inch Synodontis eupterus. Do these guys like to have company of the same sp? The lfs near me has a 2.5 incher for about $20. I was thinking about picking it up. I have always kept my syno multis in pairs or groups, which I think they enjoyed. Just wanted to see if the featherfin was the same way.

if u have the space, id go for a few more if you think it would be happier, but knowing my lfs, the syno eupterus is a bit pricey, but not a bad addition.

$20 seems high for an eupterus, but they should be compatible. If you really want it, just go for it!

Euptera do not school ... I don't think they care. Mature fish are actually territorial.
