ive had this guy with my silver arowana for about a month now, surprisingly my silver never messes with this fish. occasionally the catfish will run along the body of the arowana upside down and the aro just shakes him off and doesn't pay any attention to him. the aro has eaten everything else in the fish tank (two 4 inch aba aba knife fish yesterday) with the exception of one 7 inch spotted african lungfish i added a couple days ago. the little guy is about 2 inches long, the arowana is 8 inches. my question is; why does he allow some fish to live and others not? i find this quite odd and starting to wonder how long the aro/lungfish combo is going to work out. at what point should i separate the aro and lungfish?
