i accedently dropped some bannana in my fish tank and my jd ate it will he be ok and is it good for him cause he seems to like it and when i went over there eating one he attacked the tank like he wanted more, should i give him more or not?

is that good and would you feed the peel or the white part? sorry if this is a dumb question just i have never heard of feeding a fish a banana

i would feed both the white part and the skin

or just rinse it well

even carnivorous fish need alittle roughage in there diet
Dempseys love plants and benefit from extra greens in their diet. I've never feed mine banana, but can't see anything really wrong with it in small quantities.
some where I remeber reading banana peals will make you sick so I would assume the same would happen to a fish?
