what are some combinations people have tried and how big their clowns have gotten?

mine is a young one about 3'' housed in a 28g planted. a young white angelfish,tiny crayfish(yes had to declaw ),about 20 ghost shrimp,and 4 shiny guppies as tankmates/food for now.

will the clownknife eat all the ghost shrimp >????
it ate 1 guppie already late at night. (threw them in there because it was not eating the blood worms or tubifex cube food.)

i am planning on adding some more fish soon as the 2 mains get there spots covered. bigger tanks in the works too.

pretty sure the clowns eaten all the shrimp cant find a single one =P. does the color of his stool reflect anything besides what it ate?? hope i can get it to eat prepared food soon.

im currently setting up a tubifex and goldfish breeder.. are cherry/amano/ghost shrimp easy?

I've fed my CK Freeze-Dried Shrimp, fresh shrimp and cut pieces of fish, Frozen worms, occasional feeders.

doesnt seem interested in anything NOT living. a friend recently was blessed with the load of guppie fry (thinking of adopting some of the generation.) . can the CK eat more then 5 a day and be healthy??.

any tricks to switch them to non live would be great.
(i have angels,loaches, and a few congos on live worms and the usual pellets and cubes. their not teaching my clown it seems>?)

CKs will learn quickly. Starving works...usually a few days to a week. Do you have other fish with it? They'll "teach" it to eat what you want it to eat.

yea the ck has congo tetras,angelfish,loaches,and a few others as tankmates...
how many guppie fry can i feed him/her a day ???
