Feed tilapia to silver arowanas

I tried switching up the diet of my picky 15" silver aro by throwing in some tilapia. He loves the tilapia but is refusing to go back to pellets. Is there any long term effects from too much tilapia? Is it a fatty fish? Thanks for the help
