feeder fish and koi?

so i went to the stroe and got my self some 2 doller koi ^.^ uglyest little buggers iv ever seen but i love them i also go a 55 gallon tank there not much in it i was wondering would the koi eat the feeder fish my mom has a thing for feeder fish she has some 7inch ones but i was to get some little ones or what fish would go with them
 
100g? That is still very inadequate. Try pond.
 
You'll need a pond
 
this is just till we can get the pound its on back order for 3 more weeks

i would think a 100g with good filtration would be fine...
15" is not exactly small and it is not the maximum potential of a koi.;) These are not appropriate for tanks. Kois are best kept in ponds.
 
i just bought the tank the store guy said would work till we got the pond so feeder fish wouldnt be good?

It'll be fine for awhile, just not long term. The pond allows the fish to grow better though.
 
ya kois arent made for aquariums they do alot better in ponds but the should be fine for a couple of weeks, and no a koi will eat a small feeder fish
