Hi to all! I'm just new here...
I just wanna ask if it is OK to fed my fishes(2-Clown, 1-chocolate cichlid, 2 common pleco, 1- p.sen, 1-Ornate, 1-Albino, 1-Delhezi and 2-platinum) feeder fishes which I cought from our river(slow moving)? they look healthy though.

Any industries, drains or agriculture in the area?

Feeders are ok once in a while, but IMO no matter the source always quarentine.

well, actually its a creek... but more cleaner than usual creeks...
I'm asking these coz I'm thinking that they don't have any disease to the fact that they are not crowded to stress out them...
so I generally think that they are safe... are they?

Quarantine for 1-2 weeks to be safe and you probably shouldn't have a pleco with your bichirs.

I didn't mean to put plecos in my tank... Its just I've caught them when I'm catching those feeders... What I'm doing is that I quaratine them a week and put methylene-blue as well... I feed them twice a day... After a week, I put some of them in my main tank... Is it OK to feed my fishes those feeders every day?

Well... If they do have internal parasite they must have been dead by now... or does it take months before those feeders die?

welcome to the forum
I wouldn't use wild caught feeders and if i was going to i'd quarantine them for at least 4 weeks-Anne

Thank you very much anne...
I do really admire all your info... I've learn a lot really...
By the way, is my combination of fish alright?

Well some common plecos are known to develop a taste for slimecoat. So i'd watch
for any round dull areas on any of the fish you have or play it safe and move them elsewhere the damage they can inflict and in a short period of time is incredible
not only can they remove the slimecoat but the rasping teeth can delaminate the scale allowing for very nasty infections to set in-Anne
