feeder fish??

i was wondering..could i go down to my creek and collect minnows to feed my pikes? i would think that it would be (risk wise) just like feeding pet store feeders to them...i could give them a salt bath before i throw them in the tank..

i would just be worried about parasites and other issues like polution.

it might not be a problem if they lived in the wild. but in a confined environment like an aquarium, the slightest upset can turn to catastrophe

thats good. but you might want to quarantine them for a couple weeks before feeding them.. make sure to treat them for parasites.

or you could just throw caution to the wind and dump them in.

you definitely still need to treat them for parasites, why not just breed your own feeders instead of catching or buying
