feeder fish?

i jus picked up a couple of baby pbass around 2". i usually dont feed my fishes feeders cuz im afraid of diseases. but the pbass r damn picky. i was also shock to see it take down a feeder almost its size. it kinda scared me.....i didnt know what to think. those little mofos r bad.

there are a couple local bait shops that sells shine. is it ok to use them as feeders for my pbass?

oh...jus wanna say i really enjoy this site. there's alot of good info on various fishes. keep up the good work.

At that size they will also eat live black worms, Meal worms.

If you are not allergic to it, you may try frozen bloodworms.

I've also used frozen brine shrimp for PBs up to 4 inches.

Feeder guppies and other small fish that may fit in their mouths works.

Along with feeders i give mine live blackworms and frozen bloodworms. I have also offered pieces of frozen shrimp and smelt which they will nibble at but not really go after like live food.

Use krill and BW.

Feeders are good but they can be a pain to get them back onto prepared food later.
