hello everyone,

my friend had to leave on an emergency trip, and he brought me 55+ baby sillver arowanas today, and I need help with getting their live food. I have raised many before, but never any this small (2-4"). I am i need of a bunch of feeder guppies. Around 200-300+. Right now, they have been muchin on a few baby ghost shrimp, but these will not last long. If you have any, please email me at acourtney007@gmail.com. I will need for them to be shipped though. Thanks.

If you do not find feeder fish you can feed it other things like bloodworms, pellets, small cut fish fellets, brine shrimp & small crickets.
Feeder fish r actually troublesome as they may bring diseases n pollute water.

hi,

thank you so much for telling me about this. I do not think i have ever tried BBS, and crickets, but why not. Thanks.

Wow! 55+! What size tank are they in? You could always feed them other live food as Quen stated or feed them dried food such as krill, flakes, and pellets. It will help if you do get some mature guppies and start breeding them for future food sources.

hi,

i wasn't expecting them, and I had my last 175g open, so they are in their, and I am hoping to be able to sale a bunch of them very soon, but I want to make sure that they will eat, and are very healthy. I have a few trios of guppies, but they produce about enough worth for a week!!! I never knew that they would eat dried foods, I was alwyas told to feed them live, I will also give these a try. i will take what advice I can get!!! Thank you so much for replying!!!

Whoever told you that they only eat live food must be crazy as for almost any type of fish can be trained to eat dried up food. They are safer and IMO much cheaper than feeders...BTW keep us updated of the group of monsters! I would love to see a picture of all the little dragons. :D

again thanks. I will surely keep you all updated, and how do I post a pic of them up here. Let me know. Thanks.

Shipping for those should be no more than $100...maybe around $40-$60 range.
Still a hell of a deal for 1000 feeder guppies doe...
