In this comming project Im planning to build a 500 gallon pond for feeders during the summer. I plan to make it concrete and put many plants, and pots and driftwood. Im doing this because I raise convicts and Mosquito fish for feeders and the tank I raise them in are getting to small got about maybe 100+ of each. Another thing is that even though there feeder I fish beleve they shold live in a better enviroment like evey fish do and when thinks get a little over populated Ill throw in some Crayfish/prawns to keep it balanced and they will be good treat for my Monster fishes and this is also for my monster fishs balance diet. And now I would like you guys to post your opinions about this :D

Hehe I do that too thats how i got them but stream fish have parasites and 2 of my friends Silver Aros died from them so thats why I raise them hehe:D

If you've got the space for it, sounds like a great idea. I agree with midnight about the netting though.

Don't exactly know what your wanting comment on?...filtration?, sealant?, concrete vs other material?, attaboys?.

Of course larger is better (don't know what you had them in before tho).

Ask some questions and have a little patients as not everyone is in your time zone.

Watch out for those feeders from Nu'uanu stream since everyones koi are dying. I heard the fish in Manoa stream had high mercury readings after I fed my pbass them he kinda stopped eating and eventually died. I notice for my liberty mollies that a lot of top water plants cuts down thier nunbers and growth. Instead I fenced off my 600 gallon pond and spread out some anacharis and they grow a lot faster. But I still have a 20L planted tank as my breeding tank and the pond is my growout
