i just put a feeder in my silvers tank and hes been playing cat and mouse.. he catches than releases and repeats.. maybe the feeder is too big or is this common?.. hes about 8-9 inches and the feeders about an 1.1/2 inches.. comments please

he can fit it in too his mouth, but spits it out to readjust it for swallowing.. is it tooo big??.. can he choke??
He might just not be that hungry and is just having fun toying with his food... I really wouldn't be concerned unless he doesn't eat for a cpl days...
