SO far so good . dubia having babies all the time and i split the group to a small tub in my leo rack to see if the xtra heat would set them off and it did.Got a few rats left over from my rat rack that i sold and now am trying to breed mealworms , got plenty of beetles now and babies are small .

If you saw my last thread my gf got a few dwarf hamsters and these are there children :headbang2 and the adults have 4 babies as of this past week :D

cool, glad to see it is going well for you.

Awesome. :D
Wait, are you using the hamster offspring as feeders? Arent hamsters notorious for severely injuring reptiles?

None have been feeders yet , i may use the pinks for smaller reptiles but so far just breeding them and maxing out there numbers .

correct or do it like i do , i never feed a rodent that can actually defend itself , either frozen thawed, pinks, fuzzies or any other way to prevent injury .

I plan on ordering 150 dubia roaches that are supposed to be mostly males and gravid females. Are they truely better than crickets? Escape wise and smell, I mean.

they dont stink like crickets do much less hassle than crickets and they cant climb smooth surfaces . so they easy to contain . are u planning to have them in a tub?if so i recommend that you place clear smooth tape around the whole inside of the tube as a barrier as the small roaches can climb a little .

k thx
