Do feeder fish add color to colorful cichlids like reddevils or oscars.

when i feed my baby oscar rosie reds, his red color tends to show more.

I think you'll have better luck with pellets and chopped shrimp.

If you're going to feed live, make sure they're gutloaded with good food.

agreed with rally again :)

Get a lil 10 gallon tank, Feed them like omega1 flakes some pellets and shrimp and outher stuff for like a week or 3. then toss them in your tank

If you are not breeding the feeders, raising them to the appropriate size and then using them...I wouldn't do it. Even buying feeders and keeping them in a tank for a few weeks would make me pause.

Feeders suck. Raw seafood with shell like shrimp...or other seafood like scallops work great. They also sell frozen silver sides. INvariably clean water and a varied diet given to healthy fish will give you best coloration.

when you go buy feeders buy and raise them...in stores they have so amny feeders jammed into one tank that most of them eat each others ****...so basically your feeding your fish **** at that point...take the feeders home and plump them on good food...omega hikari whatever you feel as long as its better then ****...
