its a secret
ok i had 2 cons breed a long while back and i threw the juvinile fish into the P tank as feeders. there were 4 total cons i put in the piranha tank. well a while back 2 of them got eaten and there were only 2 left. well it turns out that i have a male and a female left in the piranha tank, cause the female is guarding about 50 lil fry running around at the bottom of the tank. she isnt even 3" and already breeding...LOL.. oh well now i got more good feeders..

oh yea she is even putting the 5" RBP in his place... she has been holding off 4 RBP for about 4 days now...

welcome to my world. the cons are gonna stress the hell out of ur piranhas. mine have spawned twice so far and the p's always get super stressed when theres fry.

but thats really cool how u tossed in feeders, and they started breeding LOL

is that why my P's have lost a lot of thier color?
most likely...
when i got started with my first tank the guy at the store was like yea get these cons they r fun cuz they start breeding really quickly... so i was like ok cool...
bought a already established couple and 2 weeks later i had a couple hundred fry... they would fend off all other fish and none of ym other fish cud touch the ground they all had to stay up top and alot lost their color.... I took the cons out n gave m to my sister n she kept them and the fry... she now has about 75 baby cons... every time i go home i steal a couple n take them back to my dorm for feeding purpouses
i wonder how long ill keep it up before she notices her fish are dissapearing :P

well it depends on how fast my RBP get hungry, i feed shrip, salad shrip and fish filets on almost a dialy basis.... so they arnt all that hungry..
