I don't know exactly what type of Serra I was sold Aquascape said it is an Altuvie but other people have told me it is just to small(2") to tell they keep telling me to feed it live wich is what he is eating(danios) but I want to get him off of live what do you guys suggest keep in mind he is only 2",thanks in advance.

Stop feeding him danios. They are a minnow and have thiaminase. At 2", he is ready for a diet of raw tilapia, raw shrimp and earthworms. Insects are nutritious if you can get him to eat them (mine won't touch them). Some people have been successful at feeding them pellets, but mine won't touch them either.
so I should just throw the rest of the danios into another tank and try to cut my shrimp small enough for him,how long should I starve him since he is so small
I will pick up some guppies but my lfs sells them pretty pricey,i picked up some tialapia is this a good diet?
well good news I cut some tiny pieces of tilapia and threw it in his tank and he ate it I am very because I didn't want to feed live as a staple
