So I've had this guy for about 2 weeks or so and he is grubbin some earth worms, but I was wondering what is the best method for feeding these guys. Should I be giving him smaller meals everyday or bigger meals every few days? Also, I'm going to go pick up some frozen foods today for my fishies...any suggestions for the fish listed below?
In the wild they get big meals far apart.... a diet of smaller varieties is best for these guys. You can train most cats to eat stuff with feeding tweazers; dip the pellets in garlic extract or fish oil and tap it around they're tail. Thats how we go the Tigs to eat. Not too much pellets as it will cause indigestion and constipate a fish.... Pellets DO however offer the most variety in a diet. Might i suggest south American cichlid pellets or another HIGH protien diet. Think BIG tank lots of water changes.

I have an assortment of all sorts of pellets from cichlids to the hikari carnivore pellets, but so far this guy wont touch any of them... i'll give the garlic extract a try one of these nights!
