how much do you feed your p's?

i feed mine (bout 3") twice a day usually but sometimes just once. i've now got them eating just pellets exept some meat or fish 2 times a week.

my question is, do you feed enought to make their bellies bulge or not?

I got 5 6-8 inch p's I feed mine pellets once a day nearly everyday that they don't get better food. They get about a heaping tablespoon I'd guess since they get a handful that I can just barely close my hand around (I got girl hands so not that much). They get talapia about once a week, a 4 oz filet that I throw in whole or break it up into chunks over two days if I have nothing better to do. They get nightcrawlers after I go fishing and beef whenever I have steak but both of those are less than twice a month lately. Think thats about it for regular food.

Depends on what I'm feeding.
If I'm feeding a group of small pygo's, I feed two to three times daily. Just enough to show bulging.
If I'm feeding a young serra, I feed once a day. After it is around 6" I bring it down to every other day.

I feed my 3 big guys market shrimp every other day now that they are monsters.

I just recently got 5 4'' rbp's...after the transfer I fed them a mix of 3 brine shrimp cubes and 2 fresh shrimp diced. They ate it all up, but 2 hrs later they are zipping around nipping at each other and very active. Are they creating a social hierarchy right now and/or am I not feeding them enough? Also my 8'' Harry(he is on the other side of the divider, still won't eat after 4 days (well he took a bit of tilapia on Sunday...) Help!

How big of a tank? Split in half or 40/60 etc? Is Harry in a new tank also? Has it not accepted any additional talapia?

Compared to the wild buddy we feed are p's a whole lot more so once a day is plenty, remember in the dry season p's have a storage tank basicly so they can survive in pools of water without food until the rainy seasons;)
