where the corruption never ends
For the past several weeks/months, I've been feeding my 22" silver and 15" Red/Golden CK with gold fish. I know this is a bad idea, I was supposed to feed them with shrimps, pellets and some small fish from the market but got traumatized by what happened to my silver aro's right eye after he ate some of those shrimps and fishes.

Both of them came in together in my 100 gal at almost the same size but it seems to me than the silver got way too larger than the CK.

Seems to me that the CK can't get enough of those feeders to eat causing him to slow his growthrate.

So what I'm asking is what to feed them that will help both of them grow at the same time and how should I train them to eat it. The Silver eats almost anything from pellets to etc. but can't get the CK eat the shrimp and pellets... all it does is bite it and spit it out

Just keep feeding what you want to feed them. The CK will eventually start eating the same thing the Aro is eating. As for the growth rate...all fish have their own growth rate. Aros tend to grow faster than CKs.

What about feeding the silver with cooked shrimps so the CK can get enough of those gold fish? would that help?
