feeding armatus crickets and insects?

im curious as to if anyone has fed their payaras crickets or other insects? and do you think i could use that as a staple diet?

I gave all sorts of wild caught crickets and grasshoppers to my various fishes before. My tat and scomb would take them so I see no reason why an army wouldn't. I expect as it gets larger though it might lose interest.
