Feeding Beef Heart

Hello all,
I have a question. I'm feeding beef heart to all of my datnoids, and they love it. Is there any problem with their health in the future if i feed them this kind of meat?

In the wild, they wouldn't eat beef heart. I don't think it will cause long term health damage, but I would not recommend it as their staple food. Stick with prawns, lance fish, krill, bloodworm etc for staple and beef heart maybe once every 2 weeks (which is high in protein and good for bulking up tigers)

I have heard of others on the forum who feed chicken to their dats!

I agree with Ade, it is not good for beefheart to be a regular food. It is also very messy, which can affect water quality.

also be wary as i heard all the roids and meds that are given to the cow growing up end up there .

Yeah, so beef heart isnt the best thing for Dats.
