I forgot that I'm supposed to feed my fishes beef heart and not beef. Is there anything wrong with feeding them fresh or frozen beef instead of beef heart? Like is beef bad for your fish?

beef has alot of fat , but it shouldnt harm them just stop feeding beef and switch over to beef heart.
Fishes digestive systems are not evolved to process mammalian proteins. Couple that with the unnecessarily high fat content and you have little nutritional value and quicker water fouling.
speaking of beef hearts, how do you guys feed them to your fish?
1) frozen and just drop in the tank
2)thawed in water and dropped into the tank
3) some other method
