Feeding beefheart to marine fish

Has anyone tried this? i fed a bit to mine last night and they loved it. even my yellow eye coal tang who never eats ate it
does anyone know anything good or bad about doing this?

A google search will show that many people have mixed thoughts on whether it causes damage or not.

I personally wouldn't just because there are food that I know are proper for my fish and they cost less.

Just makes sense for me.
