Wierd thought, often times people feed veggies to their fish for the extra beneftis, and some say carrots for example can help a bit with coloration because of the beta carotene. Well In that case I'd ave to imagine that beets would have to have a lot of some kind of vitamin or mineral due to their wicked purple coloration, I wonder if any of that would benefit the fishes color or vitality in any way. Has anyone ever tried feeding their fish beets? May color the water some I'd imagiine but if you rinsed the outside before fed.... hmm.... Thoughts and ideas anyone?
