Feeding Bichirs Fish Fillets

I know that its safe to feed bichirs tilapia fillets, but what about other fish? Such as catfish fillets, salmon fillets, etc.. Are other fish species safe to feed them, or just tilapia?

Also, when feeding, should the fish be cut up into thin, long strips, or thick little squares/chunks?

I've fed pieces from many fish with no ill effects.
You generally want to stay away from fatty fish. I'm not sure which ones are considered fatty fish though.
I cut them into small chunks, and sometimes longer strips.

Try to stay away from red meat fish like salmon. Those type of fish are to oily.

i feed tilipia in small chunks cut up shrimp, silversides, and some pellets.

I know Hao feeds his fish basa fillet. Personally, I've never tried fish fillets.

I've been feeding mine pangasius fillet, only my lapradei fdoes not want it, i noticed the pangasius fillet feels oily , does that mean its oily?

Maybe..? I noticed my del has grown A TON after I started feeding her tilapia and some times giving her the shrimp pellets.
I have some whitening in the fridge and am gonna try that after this tilapia fillet runs out

What does oily fish do to bichirs? does it mess up the digestive track, or something along those lines?
