just wondering if it is safe to feed them say shelled shrimp, tilapia, flounder mullet etc... I am obesessed with feeding my fish a varity of foods, doubt that it makes them feel better but it does me. I was at market and saw all these food being sold raw. I was just wondering if they would enjoy the raw seafood and the advantages of it. Also I occasionally buy my fish the hikiri frozen foods and the love it. but I looked on back and outside of low %'s of the usual it is mainly moisture. What is the benifit of the frozen cubes then. I know alot of betta breeders condition there fish before breeding with the frozen food.

I feed shrimp and smelt both frozen thawed and cut into chunks. My stingrays love it and no parasite issues ever. Much less expensive too. Also you can raise worms, excellent food source.
