feeding blood worms

I have 11 convict cichlids i want to know how much smalll blood worms cubes i should i feed a day.
I usually feed them 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening is that enough.

first of all FIX YOUR FONT!!! nobody wants to read threads with inch high lettering that blends into the background. and as for the blood worms that is too much. blood worms dont have much nutritional value and should be fed only as a treat AT MOST 2-3x a week. get them on a pellet diet and they will be much healthier and your water will be much cleaner as well. what size is your tank?

Yes definately fix the color and the size of the font. In your last thread about handfeeding convicts I and some other people advised for feeding bloodworms, but I only advised for it if you wanted to handfeed them cause they will easily eat it from your hands.. but it's not good as a staple indeed.

so i will start back feeding them pellets and once a week i will feed them blood worms

sounds like a plan!! you could do it 2x a week as well but just do it for one feeding, like feed them pellets in the morning or afternoon and then do the bloodworms at night or something like that

an as to convicts there cool fish but i guess you do have male's an female's? might wanna check on how big your tank is cause they are the rabbits of the cichlid world an before u know it that tank will have like 50 or more convicts.

LOL Rabbits? More like gerbils. Mine spawn about every 3 weeks (if you remove the fry) and each spawn gets bigger.

To the OP, I would recommend if you can, upgrading to a 55. You wouldn't need a bigger tank, and as they keep multiplying you could sell them as feeders and make a little money to pay for your supplies, such as food and meds and stuff.

lol yea thats what i did used some of my con's for feeders but i also bred them for a local lfs. i did that cause in exchange i got free food so it paid out both ways.
