feeding bluegill or sunfish

hello well i got these two blue gill sunfish hyrbird type things don't know which one is which i know one is a pumpkinseed/ red ear and the other looks like a pumpkin seed except it has dark black coloums on it. and i was wondering what to feed them

i wold start off with nightcrawlers i am no expert though
 
thanks guys i have some bullheads with them and they eat just fine they'll even eat some sinking pellets. my bluegill doesn't seem to go after worms though i'll try crickets and maybe some crayfish

Redworms, scuds, small crickets/grasshoppers, blackworms, if you feed them small minnows or crawdads you must quarantine them for a couple of weeks to make sure they have no parasites or diseases.
 
you probably get them to eat just about anything, i would try sinking or floating pellets, if you can get them to eat that it will be a lot easier for you and you can supplement live food.

minnows they love minnows, really about anything will do
 
oh and troubleshootn I like your quote, having takes you have to scuba dive is fun. I had to do that before to a 26,000g and 13,500g tanks as well as 7500g:headbang2
 
What size are the "hybrids"? Redears usually have bars when they're young. Do they have the (bluegill) black spot at the end of the dorsal fin?
