I have several catfish in my tank including corys and a raphael, but I think two corydoras are not as strong as the others, and cannot get food. I've tried many foods, wafers and pellets, yet most of the time the tetras out compete the corys for food. I have found one of the corys especially thin. Should I feed more food or try a different strategy? Suggestions?

Make a rock cave so only the bottom dwellers can get to the food. Use a turkey baster to get the food in the cave. I feed my corys this way. If I didnt they would get no food at all.

If the fish is emaciated it may be more than just not eating enough but mycobacteria or even parasites. It's common with clown loaches.

When I had cories I used a messy flake food 3 times a week. This stuff gets all over and the cories are able to find it regargless of how aggressive the other feeders are.

The corys are not emaciated because of parasites, its just the food problem. I might try the messy flake food idea or the rock cave idea. Thanks for the suggestions!

Theres no need to use a ton of flake in the entire tank. You can use the turkey baster for flake too. If you even have something over hanging the bottom squirt it there.
