I posted this on another thread for a fellow MFKer with a suggestion for feeding his new GN..Thought it might be revelant to re-post for fellow catfish loach, stingray keepers, that keep them in community aquariums....
I saw this idea on TV at a public aquarium and it works. I use a piece of PVC pipe taller then my aquarium; place it in my tank at night. Slightly angled so there is a small gap at the bottom, place it close to where your GN resides. Wait a few minutes then plop a few frozen bloodworm cubes in the top. As they thaw, they sink to the bottom the smell lures the fish over and as their eating the activity draws more blood worms out. Great way to feed loaches as well any other bottom feeder. If you have moonlights, it is quite interesting to watch. Ive also used it for chopped prawns, mussels, basically anything that sinks, but its the bloodworms that starts the activity.
