i dont know if this is the right forum to post in but i wasnt getting responses in the datnoid forum, but my question is how nutritious are brine shrimp. should i feed the fish brine until his stomach is full? i have a hard time telling how much he has eaten i usually thaw out 2 frozen cubes of brine shrimp and dump that into the tank...should i keep feeding until i see the stomach is full? the fish is a 2'' datnoid

What else is in the tank with the dat? For a 2" a half a cube should be enough for himself. I start to siphon the shrimp out after i start seeing a slight bulge in the stomach area. I have good success in keeping the frozen in my hand and letting it thaw into the tank. Then the fish can eat it as it falls in moderate amounts, not a huge wave a brine shrimp as thawing it in a cup and dumping the entire contents into the tank. It should have the nutritional value on the packaging for the brine shrimp.
