You buttikoferi keepers! What veggies are you feeding your nasty monsters!!

I have seen your question for a while and I just cant think of an veggies I have ever fed my butti... I had a 12inch for years all by him self (mean bastard) lol but probably the coolest fish I ever had... I got him at about 5inches and had eating troubles!!!

He ate alot of alge in the tank picking at the rocks and such... He would not eat pellets or krill or feeders... He was a pain in the butt!!! However, I did have a huge success with snails, ghost shrimp, wax worms (live fishing bait) and small crayfish (big ones he would chase out of the tank and I would find dried out on the floor)... Got expensive but was super fun wish I would have kept him, he might have been 16inches by now...

I dont know if your having trouble feeding yours or if you just wanna give a better varity... So I figured I would give you my experience with butti... If your looking for veggies I would just try different greens until you find whatever he or she likes...

Thanks for the info. I have been feeding him frozen green peas, which he loves.(My Jags do too) Since their diet is mostly plant matter in the wild, I was hoping to get some ideas. But the peas are working for now.
