What is the BEST things to feed these guys? Or what would give thim a happy long life in a fresh/brakesh/salt tank?
thanks
there in a 75 gal frsh tank that im going to slowly bring to brakesh, then when there ready, go full salt...

Seeing that you said getting them complelety in salt water made me look this fish up because i didnt quite believe it, but sure enought they do... :grinno:

yep, had a few before but gave them up for a dovii!!. Well, i missed these things so much, i sold my big tank and set up this 75 for columbian sharks. Now just wish i rememberd what they liked to eat. Mabey just tropical food, but not sure if thats the best..

they are not picky about their food, they will eat off the bottom or off the top of the water. Just feed as you would any other carnivorous catfish

ok so senking catfish pellets will work. lol duaa! i was thinking they ate more veggies

get about 5 different flake/pellets and mix them in one big airtight container. feed like normal. it's what i do with my doggie

yea go to full salt and feed pelets and goldfish on occasion for stimulation

Mine loved beef heart, blood worms, and tubifix worms. I also added in some shrimp pellets and sinking cichlid pellets.
