I've got over 100 fry from mystery eggs I found in my tank a few days ago. Although they hatched quicker than Cory eggs sre supposed too,(a couple of days I think!) the colour (white/clear) and grouping and positioning of the spawn (stuck to the glass in groups and stuck in Java moss) leads me to believe that are from my Bronze Cories.
What's the best starting food?
I've got a lettuce leaf in a pint glass of water sitting on the windowsill to produce some infusoria, but that'll take a few days.
What can I feed them now?
Don't want to lose my FIRST Cory spawn....

Help please!

Oooh ya got a surprize spawning too?
Really funny for me since they had them in my hostipal tank of all places & right after heavy meds & Ph changes too. Just cleaned my glass this morning & a hour later, had lots of lil white/clear/green spot inside eggsclumped in small groups over the glass. Pretty sure they are from my cories as those are the only species with more then 1 fish.

Do ya think its safe to keep them in with their parents? I plan to feed a liquid food as I have some from my guppies.

Cories are known to eat their eggs, so I'd move the eggs or the fish out of there. The eggs I had hatched really quickly and the fry are really small, so easily eaten (although I doubt the parents would eat the fry - just the eggs.)
Still not 100% sure my fry are cories, but they are showing some cory characteristics.

30%-40% water changes in their tank yesterday and today - I'm using some water from the 4 foot tank the eggs came from mixed with fresh, conditioned water with some boiled water added to bring it up to temp. - and I've been feeding Liquifry which I got yesterday.

They seem to be responding well. Impossible to see if they are eating, but they appear bigger and more active than they were a few days ago. Not too many casualties so far - a couple of dead bodies, but very few at this stage.

Could be up to 150 in there!
I'll get pics when I can.
