feeding crayfish

I feed Cray fish tails to my cats every now and then I by the pre- prepared ones from the supermarket. But you have to be careful with them in the wiled most fish only eat them when they are shedding there shells also they can carry disease like all feeders. I take it your not using live? As they are aggressive and cannibalistic towards their own kind, especially if there is a significant size difference. Large crayfish will eat smaller ones! So they can look after them self’s.

like remove the claws or something, or do i just chuck it in the tank and watch? :popcorn:

i just cut the claws off and let my fish at them.
