Is your Dat in the tank alone? If so this could be contributing, my Dat used a Flagtail as a dither when younger and usually wouldn't start feeding until he saw the Flagtail eating. Also you might try turning down or blocking the lights to about half strength when feeding and see if that helps. Hope it starts eating soon, keep us updated.
