Just curoius is it safe to feed earthworms and night crawlers? Ones you can buy from the stores.

Heck YES! I get mine from Walmart. No problems.

Some people will say yes, some will say no.

Imo: its safe to feed them the worms themselves where you get them from is what really effects it. You should really breed them yourself if you plan on doing it more then once or twice.

It's fine. Unless you get them from a pesticide/herbicide sprayed location they will be a great addition to your fish's diet.

The only place around here that sells them is the hunting stores and Bi mart.

Dig a hole. Pick up some worms. Feed them to your fish. Just make sure its from a non-contaminated place.

i have never had any problems

i was talking to a guy that thought his ray died from a bad batch of earthworms

Yes they are safe. Walmart or Bi mart is good places. My bichirs and eels love them. Best thing to do is put them in a bin with non fertilized soil and start breeding them. Humidity has to be high. Crushed powder food is the best.
