Feeding Fish Fillets of Fish.

Ok, so i have an arowana and 2 bichirs. Both generally eat meat. And pellets in the winter. The general Diet for them are crickets(Arowana in summer) and pellets in winter. For the Bichirs, I give them beef heart untill the grow big enough lol. i feel some pellets from time to time.

But Here is my big question. Can you feed your fresh water fish Saltwater Fillets? I know people feed salmon fillets to Arowanas, but that is a salt water fillet. Wont they get sick? And if i Can, am i able to give them Sea Robin Fillets?

i feed my black p fillets, but i only use fw fillets. normally catfish fillets, never had a problem. Not so sure that sw is any different. My buddy gives his red belly p's salmon filets and it has had no ill effect. Still not something I'm willing to leave up to chance.

When I had my peacock bass I fed them whatever was on sale. Never fed salmon was never that cheap. Lol

Usually SW fish have better taste than FW fish.
