i just gave my cichs some banana pieces ( is that fine? ) and was wondering if grape fruit, bread, banana, are fine to feed them and anything else like peas stuff like that?

I feed my fish shrimp, tilapia and some veggies. It should be fine. Just don't give gum balls or chocolate bars!
Some green vegi in the diet is ok once in a while ,mine like cut up shrimp,tilapia and earthworms too.
besides there regaler fishfood they get i feed them grubs, bananas ( first time today ) use to feed peas but i may start again, ( is grapes and grape fruit fine? )
will i just fed them a small lil peice of grape ( not grape fruit yet ) so far they like it, how long should i leave the banana in there for? just added another lil piece maybe bout an inche and there slowly eating it, so llike about 5 to 10 mins then take out?
I used to feed my Oscars green peas.I would stay away from giving them bread..but it's probably not as bad as the hot dogs some people give their fish.
ive thought about feeding hotdogs to my fish but im not cause of all the stuff they put in there and use to make hotdogs.
