Feeding frequency

So I'm sure there's a thread somewhere, but the few pages of my search didn't show the answer so I'm just posting a new one. Sorry.

How frequent do y'all feed your gars that are weaned on pellets/freezdried foods. I know it's neat to change up diets. But due to me living 45min from the closest lfs with feeders and such, Ita much easier to feed dry foods. As much as he eats? As much as he eats in 5min?

Another aspect is, it's a tropical gar. He/she eats floating sticks very well. I'd really prefer him to put on as much size as he can ,healthily, since he will be in my 500+ gallon soon. He's about 12-14" now.

i feed once every 2 days.... mostly frozen prawn inserted with jumbo carnisticks

realised he eats hikari tropical sticks standalone but leaves jumbo carnisticks alone

in the tank, there is a bbxb arowana, 2 x 1ft bichir, 1 x 1ft albino clown knife fish, 1 x 2ft fire eel, 7 x silver dollars... feeding is 14 pieces of frozen market shrimp once every 2 days.... per market shrimp cuts to 4 pieces

arowana will have 10-12 pieces..... rest is just dumped into the tank free for all
