Feeding fresh cought fish to AG Snapper?

Milky Way Galaxy,
Hey guys im thinking about going fishing today, and feed whatever I get to my AG Snapper. Do I need to clean the fish as if I were going to eat it? Should I also freeze the fish before I feed also to rid of parasites? Thanks.

Ill probably be catching trout n catfish can I just gut them n freeze them whole then feed? Im going Thursday now btw.
