Today I went fishing, not a good catch. So Im left with a heap of frozen squid and prawns left over. Is it safe for me to feed this to fish suchs as plecs, small cichlids (angels, cons), clown loaches, tetras, bala sharks in small cut up peices?

Thanks in advanced. I know some fishing guy will help.

Should be fine, just unthaw it before you feed it.

Update:

As I was cutting the squid on a chopping board, the black ink spilled all over. Bit of a mess, but the fish didnt like very much. But my 6" Bala shark swallowed a huge chunk without question. My angels refused it.

The only eager ones eating were my 5 Clown Loaches and my 5-6 week old convict fry. But it didnt get eaten. So I'll save it for the weekend when I go freshwater fishing.

I think you should thaw it, not unthaw.
If it's frozen, thawing make it unfrozen.
Unthawing would be the same as freezing I think.:) :) :D :D :raspberry

I have done this often. Don't overfeed, and rinse the squid thoroughly first, some inks are a bit toxic.

catch the ink and sell it to a fine-dining restaurant for big $$$.

what? i saw it on Iron Chef one time.
