I am thinking about buying a Yepesi ray from XoticAquatics and I was
curious what it would eat? It is probably going to be 7-8 inches long.
Miles told me that they would eat Blackworms and Earthworms. Is there
anything cheaper to feed stingrays that can be hand fed to them? I want
to be able to interact with the stingray as much as possible. Thanks!!!
 
What about cut shrimp? They are $5.99 a pound.
 
my rays have eatin mice. crickets . shrimp . market shrimp . crayfish . black/blood worms . earthworms. feeder fish .

i had one ray that ate chicken :)
 
LOL. A ray eating land animals is just plain wierd.
 
So, does anyone know how long a pound of blackworms will last? Feeding one ray.
 
Not that long. Most people have a hard time believing just how much they eat. Blackworms are a good place to start, but get inconvenient. Many people fatten new rays up with blackworms and try to get them onto something else, like market shrimp or prawns. Just make sure you mix up the diet and you'll be alright.
