Feeding Gars in the 600 G

Here's my 1st attempt at trying to edit a video. There was a lot going on trying to record and keep an eye on 5 fish to catch them nailing a goldfish.

pretty cool. i use to have 2 shortnose gars and they would eat 5 inch creek chubs. they can put down some big fish. you may want to move that perch or you may wake up and its gone.
 
that looks like the grown up version of my gar what the hell????????? does anyone think that maybe my lfs could've gotten gars by mistake here in cali? and no they dont look like the striped pike.

So far the Perch is doing really well its funny to watch but the perch and two other sunfish one about 3" and the other about 2" know to stay clear of the gars. They have been in there for almost 2 months now. Goldfish and creek minnows on the other hand are as dumb as fish get! None have lasted long enough to see the lights come back on in the morning.

Pretty nice! What kind of Perch is that?
