feeding green terror and pike cichlid

how often do i feed them? like if i give the pike a goldfish should i skip like 1-3 days of feeding? but if i feeding him a bit of frozen shrimp then everyday? the terror eats pellets so how often?

Feed daily, if their smaller and every few days when they are adults.
 
I feed all of my fish once a day. Most of them are past the juvi age so they fair well with that. If I had juvi's I'd consider 2-3 times a day. Small quanities with each feeding.
 
i feed 3 x a day my pike is an eating machine
 
yeah BUT he east like 1" goldfish. and sometimes his belly puffs out
and even other times he just wont eat cause he has enough food. and idk he seems well fed sometimes ill skip a day because hes morbidly obese

I know what you are going through with the pike and the GT. I normaly feed once a day but like to feed twice on the weekend and get to spend a little more time with my fish but that being said I change 25% of my water 3X per week. As for your pike mine will not accept pellets eihter but he will take meaty foods like feeders. Try switching him to blood worms and krill and if you do feeders use guppies they are a tropical fish and more healthy for your fish than a coldwater goldfish. your fish will take the bloodworms and krill with a little bit of patience and be healthier for it.
 
Mine loves Hikari Gold, Hikari carnivore sticks, sinking gold, and freeze dried krill. Occasionally, I will also give them market shrimp stuffed with carnivore sticks. I feed once a day
