feeding & growth rate of clarius cat?

i just bought a 2.5" albino clarius cat yesterday and was wondering what kind of growth i can expect from it? right now its in a 20g with a 3" BP and senagal B i tryed feeding it some shrimp/scalops last night but it dident like them will it start to eat them after a wile?

do they grow fast?
i think so

what do they eat?
mine ate pellets, small bits of squid, small bits of muscle, small bits of prawns and blood worm.

mine came up-2 the top to feed on pellets

Clarias cat in the hobby, for the most part, are farm-raised and used to prepared foods. Try feeding it sinking crumbles and introduce other foods after it settles in.

Mine ate pellets and it grew pretty quickly. It went from 3" to 11.5" in 7 months.

Clarias or walking catfish grow fast. I've got a pair of albinos. got em at 3" in late November 06 and now they're both about 9". They eat everything. and haven't any live prey except molly fry. They love live worms and also grow well with em.
