Feeding GT silversides?

Has anyone tried feeding their GT silversides before? I though that I had read that, but mine completely ignores any small silversides or pieces of silversides I try to feed him. Any thoughts? What are other good meaty-growth foods? He's on Hikari Massivore and Cichlid gold, and the whole tank gets bloodworms and brine shrimp every other day or so.
 
Sounds good to me. you can feed earthworms if you find them. GTs grow slow compared to other cichlids, no matter what. Feeding good food will speed it up a bit, but they aren't going to grow like an oscar.
 
My gt loves silver sides he eats the head and all I just cut a piece off the block and use a pair of "bait" scissors I call them to cut the pieces up smaller for him. You should try mysis shrimp, Krill, and Hikari sinking carnivore pellets to go along with some hikari gold too. btw I use the sheets not the cubes because ime they have more protein and fiber and also are bigger chunks that the monster fish love.
