Feeding Gulper chicken heart?

Hello everyone!

So as the title says, I was wondering if chicken heart is a viable option for adding some variety to a Gulper catfish's diet?

I tried to find some info but the majority seems to revolve around beef heart. Would feeding chicken heart be ok, or is it going to cause more problems than just sticking to shrimp+sole filet? If it changes anything I soak everything in garlic guard for my little guy.

All fish aren’t made to eat terrestrial animals. This includes chicken heart. So shouldn’t feed it.

I'd not do it.

Superficially, there appears to be a problem with keeping gulpers long terms, longer than 2-3 years. My experience matches.

Gambling with feed like that would muddle up the pool of possible reasons further.

I fed / feed mine whole marine bait fish for 3 years. Which might or might not have been a problem. Lost two for no good reason. One is surviving.

fish should just stick eat the things that they can find in the wild, for example small fishes, they wont be able to digest it normally and will cause sickness and even worst, dead
