feeding help for new CK - C. chitala

I just got myself a 14" chitala chitala. didnt post pics yet 'cause wanted the fish to settle in first but its not settled and its been a week.

It hides all day long, only comes out at night and that too after both the tank and room lights are out. I've tried leaving pellets, feeders, worms at night but am not sure if it had any 'cause I didnt see it take anything (there's a night light).

any ideas ? i suspect it may be wild caught. so what should i feed it ?

Any tank mates? Maybe put it in its own tank for a while, and you will be able to tell if its eating.

Now this is a Knife I need to see some pics of! lol, Hopefully getting myself another Knife for the first time in awhile soon.
Anyway, having just got it, it may need a day or two to settle in. Sounds like you have all good choices of food (although people are going to disagree with the feeders) that it should eat. Just need to wait now.

My old clown knife took quite a while before I saw him eat. I just fed his tankmates normally and then one day he was just out and eating pellets with them. He liked the sinking shrimp pellets.

We were so excited when he finally ate in front of us!
