Feeding hungry fish.

So I have:
Silver Arowana-14"
Jardini-10"
Clown loaches-4"
Bichir-10"
Florida Spotted gar-11"
in my 180 grow out tank and they go though 8.8oz carnivorous food packs within 2-3 weeks.

So my question is: Are there any cheaper pellet foods that all of them would eat that comes in a larger and cheaper quantity?

Try kensfish.com. You could always employ other foods such as scallops, smelts, beefheart, etc. Be sure to use meaty foods moderately as mammalian protein is very difficult for some to digest properly.

I'd use market shrimp, squid, and scallops.

Do the math, thats about $5 a lb. Not bad ! Can also get trout food (Made by Purina). Made for carnivorous fish. It's like $40 for a 20 lb bag. I'm currently trying to find a distributor for it (LOCAL).
